Service Overview
Most serious contact-lens infections start with ordinary habits: water, topping up old solution, sleeping in a daily lens.
If your eye is red, painful or light-sensitive with a lens in, that is an emergency for the cornea — not a “dryness” wait-and-see.
We teach a short routine: wash hands, rub and rinse, fresh solution, air-dry the case, never water.
Hygiene advice is not a substitute for treating an ulcer that is already there. Those eyes need scrapes and drops the same day.

How It Works
Soap, dry with a lint-free cloth, then touch the lens.
Rub with solution, rinse, store in fresh fluid — not yesterday’s.
Empty every morning. Replace on a calendar, not when it looks dirty.
Pain, redness, watering, light fear — remove the lens and come in.

What the first days look like depends on whether this is a scan, medical treatment, or a procedure. At Neera Eye Centre we explain drops, precautions, and the review date before anything is scheduled.
Bring earlier reports, your current glasses, and a list of eye drops or medicines. Tell us about diabetes, allergies, blood thinners, and any recent redness or injury.
Follow the plan you are given — observation, drops, or a procedure date. Avoid rubbing the eye. Call us the same day if pain, redness, or blurred vision gets worse instead of settling.

I recently underwent Topography-guided PRK (Contoura) surgery here, and my experience was absolutely fantastic. I had a high cylindrical power (-3.25) and was honestly a bit nervous, but Dr. Neera agrawal and the entire staff made me feel completely at ease. They took the time to explain exactly why PRK was the safest and best option for me. The procedure was incredibly smooth, and my recovery is going exactly as they guided.
