Fundus photography captures a colour picture of your retina. FFA (Fundus Fluorescein Angiography) goes further: a vegetable-based dye is injected in the arm and a camera records how it fills retinal vessels. Together they show leakage, blockage, and new vessel growth that OCT alone may not fully explain. We use them for diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, uveitis, and unexplained vision loss.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is FFA the same as an OCT scan?
No. OCT shows retinal layers in cross-section. FFA shows blood flow and leakage with a dye. They complement each other.
Is the fluorescein dye safe?
Most people only notice yellow skin or urine for a day. Tell us about allergies, kidney disease, or pregnancy before the test.
Can I drive after FFA?
Pupils stay large for a few hours. Bring sunglasses and prefer not to drive yourself that afternoon.
