Pachymetry measures how thick the centre of your cornea is. A thick cornea can make eye pressure look higher than it is; a thin cornea can hide dangerous pressure. Gonio pachymetry in our glaucoma service pairs that thickness reading with the angle assessment you need for open- versus closed-angle disease. Together they stop treatment decisions being based on a raw pressure number alone.

How It Works
Contact pachymetry uses a brief anaesthetic drop; optical methods may not.
A small probe or light scan measures the cornea at the centre.
Your glaucoma clinician reads CCT with IOP, disc, field, and OCT.

Bring earlier reports, your current glasses, and a list of eye drops or medicines. Tell us about diabetes, allergies, blood thinners, and any recent redness or injury.

I recently underwent Topography-guided PRK (Contoura) surgery here, and my experience was absolutely fantastic. I had a high cylindrical power (-3.25) and was honestly a bit nervous, but Dr. Neera agrawal and the entire staff made me feel completely at ease. They took the time to explain exactly why PRK was the safest and best option for me. The procedure was incredibly smooth, and my recovery is going exactly as they guided.
